In the beginning was the word…

I’ve been thinking about blogging for a while now but, like many other people, wondered what I had to say that was worth putting out there.
I’ve finally been prompted to create this blog as I’m participating in (as well as being a member of the project team of) theĀ 23 Things programme at Cambridge University. The idea is that this blog will serve as a record of my progress through the Things.

As I’m just embarking on my Chartership, I also plan to blog about training sessions, conferences and workshops that I attend. In the past I’ve always had good intentions of writing up my handwritten notes immediately, but have normally failed to do so. I hope that the presence of this blog will spur me to be more proactive. (That’s the aim at any rate!)

So if anyone’s reading this, I hope you visit again soon to see how I’m getting along.

Thanks, Kirsty, for your lovely comments on my blog. I had actually intended to comment on yours anyway to say that if there was a prize for the best-looking blog then my vote would go to yours! (It’s lovely!)

Thanks Helen. I could lie and say it’s all my own work, but have to admit that I had some help from my husband who’s a Graphic Designer. He’s a very useful bloke to know!

  3. H Kirsty. I’m just starting chartership too, and also planning to use my blog to write up experiences (there I was, thinking I was original…). So I look forward to reading what you’re up to, and maybe you’ll find something useful in what I write (when I get round to it!).

Good stuff, like your layout and agree pretty much with your comments.
